What is Vertex?

Vertex is a in-development character action game inspired by games like Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Rising.

After a dinner date gone awry, energetic mage-chanic Daphne and her mysterious partner discover the mana in their world has started behaving strangely, and Daphne’s partner is feeling ill because of it. The duo must battle magical electronics (and other things) to restore their abilities, and discover secrets about their world along the way.

Daphne Bold, energetic and kind hearted Offensive, she attacks with her sword and her mana gun (She does combos!) When defeating enemies, Daphne can acquire materials and use them to craft more items to equip or use in combat.
	Her Mysterious Partner Quiet, calm, and sassy You can swap Daphne with her partner! She uses her unique mana like abilities to: teleport, telekinesis, and chain attacks When defeating enemies, she can absorb mana from fallen foes to replenish her mana gauge. When there are groups of enemies, she can perform AoE attacks.
